Leather is a common material chosen by professionals working in Foundry and other industrial applications.
The advantages of leather gloves withe apron palm are:
- Leather is extremely durable and resilient, which means the glove will most likely not puncture, rip or tear during normal everyday work. Leather is, however, not cut proof.
- Leather with the correct padding is a great insulation from heat as well as cold. With the sewn in apron they give added insulation and extra protection against wear. Inserts can be placed between the palm and the fingers giving even more insulation when dealing with extreme temperatures.
- Leather gloves will eventually wear to shape of hand contours and are therefore extremely comfortable ensuring that wearing the same pair of gloves for an extended period of time will help reduce the risk of burns, blister or chaffing.
Always replace old or damaged gloves
